Prior sailing experience is not a required to have a dream vacation aboard Corvette. Fair Winds Sailing has well qualified and very friendly skippers available who are happy to safely and competently pilot Corvette to whatever your destination.  You are welcome to relax on deck or actively participate in the ship’s operation. Do as much or as little as you like.  Fair Wind’s skippers are dedicated to making each voyage the finest possible experience for all on board. Take a turn at the wheel, trim sails, do a little fishing – it’s all up to you. This is informal sailing at its best – no worries,  just fun and plenty of it.

Set Your Own Itinerary and Explore San Diego Bay‘s Magical Charm

Sea Lions on the Santa Monica BouySail Corvette for a few hours or the whole day. San Diego takes on an entire different character when experienced from the water. Sail under (that's right, under) the famous Coronado Bridge. See America's finest Navy ships up close and personal. Cruise by the waterfront downtown, or take a spin straight out past Point Loma into the Pacific Ocean. All are possible aboard Corvette.

Take in Historic San Diego Bay

An all day sail can take you completely around the bay. You’ll likely see one or more Nimitz class Aircraft Carriers like the Abraham Lincoln or the Nimitz herself. If you choose a weekend, you may find yourself sailing alongside Stars & Stripes, the famous Americas Cup sailing yacht once raced by Dennis Conner.

Points North and South

If you’re adventurous and prefer to venture out to the big blue Pacific Ocean, the famous Coronado Hotel can be seen on the way to the Coronado Islands 14 miles south.  To the north is Mission Bay and La Jolla.  Mission Bay access is restricted due to Corvette’s size, but the beautiful cliffs of La Jolla are well within Corvette’s grasp.  You decide, San Diego is your oyster for the day!
